Abstract

The goal of this project is to develop composites of polyurethane (PU) and PZT aiming their application as harvesting energy, in particular motion energy. The composites will be obtained by mixing the ceramic grains with polyurethane dispersed in water. Micro-nanofiber of cellulose will be added to the composite and their effects on piezoelectric response and mechanical properties will be investigated and compared with the results of PU/PZT composites obtained without fibers.(AU)
