Abstract

The Project consists of the obtentions and characterization of the natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) composites in the proportion of 50/50 with the addition of the filler, the polyurethane (PU) residue, using the vulcanization semi-eficiente (SEV) system. The influence of the filler on the polymeric matrix and the physical properties of the composites will be the object of this study. The mixture will be made on an open mixer cylinder and the specimen will be made by them pressing in a 2 mm thickness rectangular format, allowing the realization of the study on its physical and chemical properties. The composts will be characterized by the reometric analysis technique, accelerated thermic aging, density, hardness, crosslink density by swelling with organic solvents using the Flory-Reher equation, besides making it possible the abrasion resistance, tear strength and tensile strength.
