Abstract

The recent results obtained with the optical parametric oscillator in the production of strong entangled fields enabled the application of this entanglement in quantum information protocols. We will begin with two fields, signal and idler, strongly entangled, to perform the teleportation of a coherent state between different wavelengths. The next step will be the entanglement swapping between fields of different colors. Those demonstrations will enable new teleportation protocols for quantum information, an important intermediate step in the implementation of quantum information processing, connecting distints processing parts working on different energy levels.
