Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the maintenance of preload in different screws retention UCLA type abutment in implants with different prosthetic connections; submitted to successive retightening and measurement of detorque value. Two study groups (n = 20) will be formed according to different prosthetic connections (HE Group: external hexagon implant and CMH Group: implant type hexagonal Morse cone, all connected to cylinder UCLA). Each group with two subgroups (n = 10) varying the type of retention screw (HE-T and CMH-T: retaining screw titanium alloy and HT-A and HCM-A: retention screw surgical steel). The initial torque will be applied and after three minutes will be measured the de torque values through a digital torque measurer. The detorque measurement will be performed 10 times for each retention screws in the groups HE and CMH, being 200 de torque measurements in each group, totaling 400 measurements. The data will be tabulated and submitted to the appropriate statistical analysis. (AU)
