Abstract

The project proposed here intends to analyze the novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being, by Milan Kundera, from the theme-words that directs its plot, in order to comprehend the unbearable lightness of being that the characters, understood as representation of real subjects, are liable to. The novel will be considered in its textual and discursive composition. Thus, it will be possible to reflect about the novel as a gender and its architecture. To do this, the theorist perspective used will be the one of Bakhtin Circle about gender, dialogue and subject. (AU)
