Abstract This project intends to develop a research about the use of archetypes in the building of the scene. In order to accomplish such work, my intention is to analyze the concept of archetype according to C. G. Jung's theory. From there, search for a dialogue between the archetypes and the scenic elaboration, aiming the scrutinizing of details of the creative process, which is based on the investigation of a "scenic body" that composes the archetype. In this direction, we will explore the ritualistic universe of Candomblé and its mythical narratives - the Orixás - emphazising seven of the most diffused and worshiped in Brazil: Oxum, Iemanjá, Iansã, Oxossi, Ogum, Obá e Xangô, being synthesized and stylized to the production of a performance at the end of the process. However, such exploration demands the "Campo de Visão" exercise as a mean to approach this experimentation. (AU) | |
