The research project involves the theoretical analysis of the dynamics of rigid bodies immersed in an incompressible fluid. More precisely, it deals with the study of the dynamic of systems involving the interaction of fluids and particles or rigid bodies. We will be interested in systems with several rigid bodies and the study of the asymptotic behaviour of solutions, when the diameter of the bodies tends to zero. We would also like to investigate, in the case where there is no collision, the asymptotic behavior of solutions for long times. (AU)
