Abstract

The proximities between geographical knowledge and literature have long-standing and have contributed to the formation of the body of scientific geographical knowledge over the last century. Within Brazilian intellectual, often driven by European context, the relationship between these knowledge has arisen only since the mid-1970s, with the expansion of cultural studies and humanistic, which revalorizaram exchanges between different areas of knowledge. Given this context, the purpose of this study is to investigate how the entanglement between knowledge and geographical knowledge literary occurred and as has occurred in the Spanish literary context, or not contributing to substantivation thought of geographical science developed in that country.
