Abstract

This Project is based in associate extreme climate events with the loss of soil processes caused by raindrops' impact on the surface. The intense precipitation occurrence tends to bring on several consequences in Earth's surface and this way the society. Among them, the hydric erosion process is responsible for damaging great areas of plantation, bringing it to serious damages by farmers and the environment. Thereby, it's going to be evaluated the rain's erosion value, R factor of the Universal Soil Loss Equation - USLE, detecting possible erosion situations through pluvial precipitation. Accordingly, the present work has as aim to perform a maximum precipitation events study, in Medio-Paranapanema hydric resources management unity (UGRHI - 17), comprising, this way, the region climatological character in a way to forecast more vulnerable points with intense rains. Thereby, knowing that the Unity is inserted in a region with a significant role in state farming, the research has fundamental importance for countryside activities income improvement.(AU)
