Abstract

This project research fellowship abroad want to make possible the realization of a practical internship of one month with the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards, located in Pontedera, Italy. The current dissertation, aims to analyze the construction of a quality of awareness/attention to the work of actor/performer, having as object of study "Art as Vehicle" last stage of research Jerzy Grotowski before his death. So, in view of the improvement research, this project will enable a scholarship internship theoretical and practical experience with the leaders and members of this institution. The internship will be held in three stages: access to the collection of the institution (texts and vídeos), participation in a practical course (Summer Intensive Program 2013) and the realization of dialogues directly with group members. This institution is presents as ideal for this internship because, besides being the last place where Grotowski developed the Art as Vehicle (object of this research), there is his legacy passed directly to Thomas Richards and Mario Biagini (directors center studies that give continuity to the work of the Polish director and researcher). This internship presented here is thus aimed at the practical and direct contact with the object of study of the Masters degree that is being developed. (AU)
