Abstract

The ideal root canal filling material should have specific characteristics such as: promoting adequate marginal sealing, having the ability to allow or induce repair, easy insertion, and biocompatibility. In an attempt to find a material with properties satisfying both biological and physicochemical, this study will determine in vitro cytotoxicity by MTT assay, by extracts from EndoREZ, Epiphany SE, AH Plus, and Endomethasone. The sealers will be evaluated at 24 hours, 1 week, and 1 month, after mixing on human cell culture from the pulp (HPC1). Serial dilutions will be made from extracts of the original root canal sealers (1:1) in the presence and absence of additives (N-acetylcysteine (NAC 5 mM) and Butionina-sulfonamide (50 mM BSO)). The cellular response to materials will be evaluated using the ANOVA and Kruskal Wallis test (p = 0.05%). (AU)
