Abstract

Of all the processes that foliar evaluation, sampling still remains the most error-prone. This study will aim to determine the size of leaf samples and the variation of sampling error for leaf collection in a stand of banana 'Grand Naine'. To meet the objectives of the experiment will include an evaluation of 30 individual samples for assessment of nutritional status during winter and summer to estimate the parameters of an infinite population to a desired level of accuracy, based on the standard error of the mean.
