Abstract

The Guardian Council is an establishment created by the Statute of Children and Adolescents in order to involve civil society in the role of ensuring compliance with the rights of childhood and adolescence, being chosen by the community to perform constitutional and legal measures in the area of childhood and adolescence. Studies show that the majority of referrals to the Guardian Council comes from complants in schools (SOUZA; TEIXEIRA AND SILVA, 2003; SANTANA et al., 2008; FERNANDES AND ARAGON, 2011; SEQUEIRA; MONTI E Braconnot, 2010). Thereby, this work aims to understand and demonstrate the demand profile sent from the school complaint, and the type of care offered by the professionals of the Guardian Council of the city of Assis-SP. It is intended to expand the knowledge about the intersection School-Guardian Council, besides to contribute to advances in the area of psychology, which can work together with this last one. Therefore, the study should include two stages: analysis of documentary records on complaints referred by school demand during 2012 - charts and / or routing records - and semi-directed interviews with tutelary counselors.
