Abstract

After a long period of restructuring in the economic sectors as a result of the crisis of Fordism, we can identify new guidelines, setting a framework that combines flexible actions to overcome the barriers posed by the crisis. In this sense, these actions can be learned from the analysis of the configuration of industrial relations and industrial organization, from the combination of the technical base with institutional norms, especially those posed by the nation-state in the territory. This is how we can understand how you are configuring the ways to overcome the crisis in different territories and how these principles flexible start from different strategies. Thus, in our doctoral research we analyze this complex picture in this moment in Brazil. Therefore, we combine our analysis with the proposed internship in Spain in order to understand the flexibility configuration of this country who is suffering so overwhelming impacts of the Fordism crisis. Thus, we will have more examples and possibilities of analysis that will explain more consistently with interpretations about flexibility in different manifestations in the current reality. (AU)
