Abstract

Breast cancer is a disease highly prevalent and incident. Recently has been cited in the literature that the integration between tumor stroma and epithelial cells malignant is an important factor in resistance to cytotoxic treatment. Studies show that Mesenchymal stromal cells tumor originating form a favorable microenvironment for the maintenance of stem cell tumor (CTTS) responsible for the recurrence distance. This sub-population of CTTS is able to repopulate the tumor cells with host same origin. It is postulated that this interaction translates into the ability of tumor invasion and metastatic potential. This study aims to examine the association of cells tumor lineage MCF-7 human mesenchymal stem cell, to study changes in phenotypic and biological behavior. (AU)
