Abstract

Noise pollution is a public health problem that has been increased over the years. This work will analyze the sound pressure levels wich bus stop users are exposed and propose solutions to decrease the effects of the acoustical discomfort. Experimental procedures are based in interviews with bus stop users, in field measures and computational simulations. The expected results will be used in order to quantify the noise exposure and its impacts over population's health.
