Abstract

The production of wood in Brazil is growing every year and several studies have been conducted in order to obtain a cultivation system less costly and less aggressive to the environment. In this exploration, Eucalyptus species have essential role due to the intrinsic characteristics of culture. In this line described, some studies cite positive responses to make crops eucalypt and plants of the genus Acacia. It is known that most plants form symbiotic associations with fungi endo and ectomycorrhizal and that they act extending the root system of plants, aiding in the capture of water and nutrients, especially P and N. Therefore, this project aims to assess the influence of the plantation systems (pure and mixed) in the community ecto and endomycorrhizae and how this change occurs in a depth gradient to the soil profile. Conventional techniques for assessing colonization and diversity will be used, as well as molecular techniques that access deeper community. Among these will be held the genetic diversity of fungi and total bacteria from the soil through the technique of T-RFLP, quantification (qPCR) and sequencing of ectomycorrhizae. The results contribute to the understanding of the biogeochemical processes that these organisms perform in mixed plantations of Acacia mangium and Eucalyptus grandis and can provide information that a logging more economical and less aggressive to the physical, chemical and biological soil.
