Abstract

The textbook in Brazil is the main resource used by teachers to assist and guide their classes. Because of its importance it is necessary to examine its contents and methodologies among others. The group Formar- Ciências da Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp has carried out several projects analysis of textbooks, and as a result of these projects the construction of tables of indicators for evaluating teaching collections of Sciences, Biology, Physics or Chemistry. However, an important aspect of the educational process school has not consisted of these frameworks, the question of interdisciplinarity. In that context, this project aims to develop and validate a framework of indicators to evaluate assess the interdisciplinary approach in science textbooks from 6th to 9th grade of elementary school. For frame construction, will advance a literature review and theoretical study, which will be the basis for the definition of indicators and performing the analysis of collections through the technique of content analysis. After, we will select among the three collections didactic approved by PNLD-Ciências-2014 and proceed to examine these collections through the technique of content analysis. We hope that the results of research can contribute to the processes of government and academic assessment of educational materials and promote the issue of interdisciplinarity when preparing teaching materials, teacher training and practice of basic education teachers, especially when they use textbooks
