Abstract

The Development Software Reconfigurable (DSR) can be defined as a specific approach in Software Engineering. Given this specificity, it has been observed during these last years, efforts of researchers to propose methodologies, processes and computational tools that can assist the activity of software reconfiguration at runtime. Actually, these efforts are directed to proposed flexible architectural models, which are able to minimize the impacts occurring with the software during its life cycle. In this context, the RENOVE project ("A Proposal of Reference Architecture for Reconfigurable Systems: An Automated Process in Reflect Tools"; May/12-April/13; Prope/UNESP - Research Pro-Rector of the Universidade Estadual Paulista) was proposed to establish a Reference Architecture (RA) for reconfigurable systems through an automated process (Infrastructure Reference Architecture for DSR). However, for the goals to be achieved it is necessary to instantiate the RA in a concrete architecture. Given the presented context, this project aims the implementation of the reflection subsystem (reflect Manager) - based on computational reflection and aspects. This subsystem is intended to: (i) perform the disassembly and reassembly of the software artifacts to the new requirements are incorporated them at runtime, (ii) minimize the involvement of developers in the activity of reconfiguration, since it is a costly activity and prone to error when done manually. Thus, it is expected, with the completion of this project, the creation of subsystem for reconfiguration of software artifacts at runtime as part of concrete architecture for DSR. (AU)
