Abstract

The aim of this project presented with the application for Doctoral Scholarship is to establish the main guidelines for the development of the research and the writing of the Doctoral Thesis, which has as its general subject the constitution of economic planning problems at the level of the discourse by the end of Brazilian Second Republic and the beginning of military dictatorship, comprising the following economic plans presented by successive governments between 1962 and 1970: Plano Trienal de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (Trienal) Programa de Ação Econômica do Governo (PAEG) and Programa Estratégico de Desenvolvimento (PED). To reach this goal, the project is divided in six parts: (1) an "Introduction and justification", which demarcates the field of discourse analysis to be considered, as well as proposes an hypothesis for its historical meaning and rise the main questions that this field can offer before the classic topics of the historiography about the period; (2) the presentation of the main objectives of the research regarding the theoretical perspective and the questions proposed in the item above; (3) a chronogram for the research and the writing of the thesis; (4) the presentation of the documents to be considered and the methods and techniques for their descriptions; (5) the criteria for analyzing the results rose by this description regarding the issues developed in the "Introduction"; (6) the basic references.
