Abstract

The work has a role that structure the lives not only of the people themselves as well as whole society. When the worker is affected by disease, can suffer interference ranging consequences for their mental health, the importance and significance of social work, social devaluation. The sick worker has his health situation worse and may even work itself can be the cause of illness framework, resulting in limitation of their production capacity, temporary or permanent withdrawal from job and/or readaptation. The objective of this research is to identify the profile of readapted university campi workers in São Paulo State, describing the usages due to illness, according to sociodemographic characteristics, labor insertion, and analyzing the relationship between sociodemographic variables and entering the labor in relation to disease motivating rehabilitation. Secondary data will be collected statutory workers that were readapted / rehabilitated by sickness units of university campi in São Paulo. This study is descriptive and exploratory. The research method is quantitative, it aims to bring to light data, indicators and statistics on trends observable facts, considered objective data. In the exploratory phase, in which we will use of quantitative methodology will be performed to document analysis to collect information and data for building database. Information workers will come from systems, information and documentary material with the human resources sections of each of the units, in addition to consultations with the readaptation process. It will then constructed a database with sociodemographic variables, aspects of work and characteristics of the disease that caused the limitation of workers. This database will be analyzed in the statistical program to verify the significance of the relationship absenteeism / out due to illness and other variables, the following assumptions established by their distributions and characteristics. The research will present the existing numbers of servers retrofitted on campi, the prevalence per unit and the relationship between sociodemographic variables of employees: prevalence in relation to sex, age, length of service in the institution, nationality, marital status, the role played and the industry. Will be checked also diseases that motivated workers usages and limitations / restrictions resulting from the health/disease process. Thus, a panel will be built on the redeployment of workers from the interior of university campi, according to demographic data and statistical analyzes.(AU)
