Abstract Family involvement is a main aspect in speech therapy with children and teenagers hearing impaired, because the success of (re)habilitation and credibility depends on the permeability of the family in therapeutic proposal, providing the hearing impaired child development of listening skills and learning of spoken language. This study aims to analyze the communicative interaction between parents and children or teenagers with hearing impairment who use oral communication through the evaluation of filming. Participate in this study parents of 20 children and teenagers with hearing neurossensorial pre-lingual, using the Hearing Aids (HA) and / or cochlear implant (CI) and attending or have attended a speech-language approach with aurioral. We will use the Checklist procedure, which presents 22 behaviors that analyze the interaction for stimulation of hearing and language. The above behaviors should be scored as a Likert scale and classified as "seldom", "happens" and "often". The interaction between children and teenagers with hearing loss and their parents or guardians will be filmed for later analysis of three judges with experience in Educational Audiology. The results of this study will foster discussions on strategies and guidelines that facilitate family participation. | |
