Abstract

This research aims to analyze the ergonomic environment of a living space through graphic grids in Bauru-SP. The objective is to evaluate the influence of physical, environmental, and functional usability in a public space. The research aims to follow the methodology developed in the doctoral thesis held in Bauru, and is based on the application of the model DEPAN - Design for Permanence and Attractiveness in open spaces of conviviality Niches, it is model is based on concepts of environmental psychology, the post-occupancy evaluation, the method of observation and the method of grid attributes. For that, questionnaires will be aplicated to identify users' sensations, satisfaction, and preferences. field monitoring will be conducted to monitor the microclimate conditions (air temperature, relative humidity, and surface temperature) and the distribution of shading in different conditions time together with the assessment of spatial occupation of the users, as well as the relationship between them, in every niche. By proposing the analysis of a different space, a university campus is expected to verify that the model is not dependent on a GIS (Geographic Information System) and demonstrate its application in software easily accessed by undergraduate students, AutoCAD from Autodesk.
