Abstract

In Recife of the late nineteenth century, typographers and socialist laborers port occupied different places of world of work, however, both groups shared stiff alliances with party leaders in the province. The proposed research aims to present the varied political and electoral articulations firmed between workers and politicians, following the interests and strategies that were put on trading from the trajectories of workers.
