Abstract This project proposes the development of a methodology to provide service restoration plans in contingency situations to large scale distribution systems (distribution systems with millions of switchers and load buses), considering the existence of voltage regulators, capacitor banks and several kinds of switchers. The proposed methodology should be able to consider the operational characteristics of several kinds of switchers (the existence of automation, possibility to be operated with load and/or short circuit, etc.) to determine service restoration plans. It is important to highlight that the majority of existent methodologies to determine service restoration plans do not consider those switchers operational characteristics. As the service restoration problem is a combinatorial problem, with multiple objectives and constraints, to develop the proposed methodology it will be used techniques like Evolutionary Algorithms, Multi-objective Optimization and the graph encoding called Node-Depth Encoding. This encoding will be used to computationally represent the electrical topology of the distribution systems. To validate the proposed methodology computational simulations will be executed with real large scale distribution systems. | |
