Abstract

The antisocial and criminal behaviors are permanent concerns regarding the health and positive development of adolescents that lives in urban areas in Brazil. From a brief theoretical review about antisocial behavior (perspectives of psychiatric classification and psychoanalytic contributions), values (in perspective of Functionalist Theory of Human Values) and moral development (from the perspective of Piaget), this study has proposal to investigate potential relationships between indicators of human values and antisocial and criminal behaviors in adolescents. For this, we will evaluate 120 students in basic school, of both sexes, aged 13-17 years, from two public schools and two private schools in Santos (SP). The instruments to be used will be "Scale of Antisocial and Delictive Behaviors", "Basic Values Questionnaire" and "Economic Classification Criterion Brazil." Will be performed comparative analysis of the results, considering the variables public schools / private and gender. The project is a clipping from a larger study that includes subprojects with the same topic, but with teenagers high school students and teachers. (AU)
