Abstract

This project aims analysing key aspects of the social bond regarding children and adolescents immigrants in the city of Sao Paulo. For this, we will consider the schooling environment as a privileged context for this investigation. We will focus on cases of subjective suffering of the children and adolescents, and particularly on the way that they manifest these in the social context of education. We hypothesized four aspects involved in the subjectivity of children and adolescents migrants: their place into a fictional family history, the participation of the transmission of cultural traits, the affiliations built in relation to the country of origin and the affiliations of the subjects in host country. We will develop two devices research, the ateliers "Fabrication History", with children 6-9 years old, and Conversation Groups with adolescents between 12-17 years old. With these devices seeks we aim demonstrate the points of space-time break, specific of displacements cases, and the forms of subjectivity or desubjectivity of these children and adolescents migrants, from its emergence in the social school scene. We will conduct further interviews with teachers from schools in the capital city, aiming to collect school speech on child and adolescent migrants, their suffering, their mental strength and their way of investing two languages. Our goal will be to create alliances between the differents forms of psychic suffering of this subjects, their expression in the school scene and the points of vulnerability involving any of the four fundamental aspects of the subjectivity of these children and adolescents. We will also analyze how some capabilities of this subjetcs can be observed when we have good conditions of interactions between these four aspects. This is a psychoanalytic research in the social field, which seeks to investigate the effect of exclusion on the subject. With the redefinition of immigration law planned for 2014, our society, health professionals and education, should be able to understand the difficulties and the challenges of subjectivation migrant child, be open to new forms of transmission, to the plurality and to the difference among the stories and subjects.Key words: Children and adolescents; immigration; psychoanalysis; education; transcultural psychotherapy.
