The aim of this study will be to evaluate the effect of adding hydrophobic monomer 1.2 dodecanediol dimethacrylate (DDDMA) in the degree of conversion (DC) and sorption (SP) and solubility (SO) of experimental sealants. It will be also evaluated the effect in color stability of a composite after wine staining. Five experimental sealants and a commercially available sealant (Biscover-Bisco) will be used. The experimental surface sealants will be manipulated by mixing, in various percentages, of monomers DDDMA and UDMA. The photoinitiator system will be composed by camphorquinone (CQ) and tertiary amine 4-ethyl benzoate dimetilamiono (EDBA) and as a solvent was used ethanol. The experimental groups will be named sequentially according to the monomeric content (DDDMA/UDMA): G1 (40/40), G2 (50/30), G3 (60/20), G4 (70/10), G5 (80/0) and G6 commercial sealant Biscover. For DC, SP and SO, data will be submitted to 1-way ANOVA and Tukey test (±=0.05).
