Abstract

The public understanding of science and the development of a citizen well-versed in the scientific knowledge can produce relevant interpretations once applied to the field of literature for kids and teenagers. The way of doing and thinking the popularization of the scientific culture for such receptors are decisive for reflexive and high quality information - compounding possible means for sophisticated learning process. This project aims to reflect upon Science Journalism to children and youth from the Cosmology's perspective (that studies the origin, structure and evolution of the universe), a field that provokes wonder as well as an idea of being complex. It proposes, thus, to analyze the strategies and resources used by the authors, as well as to evaluate the implications of the junction between Pedagogy, Literature and Science. (AU)
