Abstract

This research is ongoing and aims at identifying and analyzing how to organize the Democratic Management and participation in a school of Vocational Education in Agroecology MST (PR). Our goals are to observe and analyze the collective and school coordinators to verify how effective the participation of students, teachers and coordinators in school management and examining the specific management professional education in agroecology. We start from the observation that the MST is configured as a social movement opposed to the present system of production and reproduction of capitalist society. And we know that the movement has built over the years certain educational principles that aim to understand the totality of social relations and aim to comprehensive education. Since 2000, Agroecology entered the agenda of the MST, as opposed to production of food poisoning, it led to the creation of Schools of Professional Education in Agroecology, to train technicians within this paradigm. The guiding hypothesis of the research is that the DG in these schools is organized by principles and actions, such as self-management and direct and collective, seeking to understand the educational environment targeting a specific pedagogical intentionality. We will use this research as a methodological procedures bibliographic research, direct observation and semi-structured interviews. We believe that the contribution of the research is related to the systematization of knowledge in schools of social movements, especially in the area of DG and also in professional education. (AU)
