Abstract

Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are a specific type of mobile networks in which the node are formed by vehicles with capable of processing, storing, and wireless communication. Each node have a high mobility and way well defined, so some characteristics appear intrinsic VANETs: highly dynamic topology, frequent disconnections with the network, reduced time in which we remain connected and scalability Network. Due these characteristics the data dissemination becomes large challenge in this type of environment. Many data dissemination protocols have been proposed in the literature, but most of them operate exclusively in sparse or dense networks. In real scenario, these two situations (dense and sparse) coexist, therefore the aim of this work is to develop strategy data dissemination in vehicular networks that adapts to different traffic conditions.
