Abstract

The benefit of research in the area of Networks Ad Hoc Vehicle (VANETs) is related to two aspects: (i) communication and cooperation between vehicles, offering great potential in reducing the number of accidents, (ii) some applications may improve comfort for passengers, as well as helping drivers to travel on the roads more efficiently. Thus reducing pollution and congestion, make the most predictable travel time, reduce vehicle operating costs, improving efficiency in logistics, among others. These applications are typical examples of what we call an intelligent transport system (ITS), which aim to streamline operations of vehicles, manage vehicle traffic, help drivers with safety and other information, along with the supply of convenience applications to passengers. This system becomes an essential tool when observing the ills of a big city such as congestion, lack of communication infrastructure, lack of traffic engineering, among others. With these challenges in mind, we propose the development of cloud vehicle services as a mechanism to aid in the management of large cities, seeking to provide storage mechanisms, access and management of information to provide tools that will assist in getting not only citizens but also of all official vehicles of a city like ambulance, car, etc. Also, increase the capacity of abstraction of information through the use of vehicle networks and integration of VANETs with other networks, and provide relevant information to carry out the monitoring and management of intelligent transport system.
