Abstract

The emergence of technologies for crop pest control are periodically evolving to adopt more recently effective means of control. The aim of this study is to evaluate isolates of Bacillus thuringiensis for the control of Spodoptera frugiperda (JE Smith, 1797), Diatraea saccharalis (Fabr., 1794) and Agrotis ipsilon (Huf., 1976) in some bioassays that will be performed at the Laboratório de Genética de Bacterias e Biotecnologia Aplicada (LGBBA), at the Departmento de Biologia Aplicada à Agropecuária da UNESP/Campus of Jaboticabal. The randomized experimental design will be composed of 10 treatments and three replications, each with twenty larvae. Six B. thuringiensis isolates from the soil of the State of Sao Paulo and 3 type strains will be used. (AU)
