This study will evaluate the effect of sintering time by microwave energy the micro structuralfeatures based ceramic zirconia Y-TZP. The null hypothesis is that the sintering time will notinfluence the values of biaxial flexural strength Y-TZP disks in different groups. Seventy-fivesamples in disc form ceramic IPS e.max ZirCAD (12x1, 2mm) are machined according to ISO6872 for the biaxial flexure test. Are separated into groups according to the sintering time.Group I: samples are sintered for 15 minutes, Group II, the samples are sintered for 30 minutes,Group III samples are sintered for 1 hour, Group IV samples are sintered for 2 hours; Group V:the samples are sintered for 3 hours. The specimens are subjected to biaxial bending after aftersintering. The qualitative analysis will be performed by means of a scanning electronmicroscope. For statistical analysis will be used the Weibull modulus (m) and resistancecharacteristic (Ã0).
