Abstract

Considering the substantial amount of correspondances générales (CG), as well as the expressive bibliography about epistolographic studies in France, this project, at first, intends to do a survey and a contrastive analysis of a representative group of "collected letters" from French authors, since the second half of the 20th Century. It aims to comprehend the different methodological, critical and interpretative presuppositions. The comparison of publishing proposals will offer an extensive range of formal and methodological possibilities, as well as the development of new perspectives to approach and structure Mário de Andrade's (1893-1945) wide "collected letters" edition , in process.
