Abstract

The use of electrochemical techniques has achieved great scope in recent years due to the development of fast, portable and low-cost methods for detection of forensic samples. In this sense, this research project aims to develop analytical methods for the quantification/discrimination of forensic samples (drugs of abuse and explosives). Throughout the project, the student will be developed electrochemical or chemical sensors associated with chemometric tools (unsupervised pattern recognition methods) to the process of discrimination the analyzed samples.
