Abstract

The current stage of the Latin American megapolization process if relates with o restructuring of production processes , influenced by new media and information This stage is characterized by a spatial configuration that transcends the notion of urban and urban conglomerate, incorporating the dimension regional various ways. Thus, to understand the configuration of the most complex urban morphologies and change of the classic monocentric city , many authors resort to new concepts and terms to explain the new settings and the roles that these clusters establish in the city system. So come form now known as the metropolis, but also other forms such as macro-metropolis , among others . Forms that relate to the new relations of capital and with the social division of labor. Regarding macro-metropolis , in the case of Brazil , encompasses important centers - where the phenomenon of mobility is intense - the research aims to evaluate the structure of this complex mega metropolis , the light of population movements.
