Abstract

The growing environmental awareness, environmental conservation, social justice and concern for future generations are also directly related to public management. Pressed by the society and environmental laws, the adoption of environmental preservation practices are strengthening within the public administration and the beginning part of the municipal public policies. The objective of the research is to evaluate the results generated from the implementation of reverse logistics in a city of Alta Paulista. To achieve the proposed objective a study of reverse logistics practices that were deployed in the city Tupã more than ten years, thus demonstrating that maintained a continuity independent of municipal management will be conducted. To measure the quantitative results of the survey will be used Wuppertal method that assesses how much the municipality ceases to pollute the environment. Will also be reported as the economic results and income generating benefits for families and the local community involved in the project. Therefore, the adoption of reverse logistics practices adopted by the municipality may be evaluated for other municipalities adopt this profile management. (AU)
