Abstract

This project of period research in France is part of the Post-Graduate degree in Social Sciences - IFCH / UNICAMP and funded by FAPESP. The objective of the research is to develop an analysis of social actors around of interests and conflicts the negotiation and approval of project transposition of the river San Francisco. The methodology is based on the reinterpretation of the participation of the actors involved in the São Francisco River Basin Committee and related institutions. The search procedure is based on bibliographical, documentary, research hemerotécnica and interviews with the actors involved. The contribution of international discussions and bibliographies will be relevant to the general understanding of the processes of water conflicts, the mechanisms of collective action, from the theories of human and social sciences and interdisciplinary rural sociology that are worked at the Laboratoire des dynamiques Sociales et Recomposition Espaces (LADYSS) - Université Paris X - Nanterre - France, which traditionally have researchers interested in rural issues and contribute to the long research in Brazil. The researcher who will oversee the internship will be Prof . Jean -Paul Billaud, who has experience in the debate on water, environment, natural resources ( use, risks and management) in the field of rural sociology. (AU)
