Abstract

The current project corresponds to the first of two foreseen research stays in Nijmegen (Netherlands), in order to develop the initial project (The Nietzsche Dictionary (Nietzsche-Wörterbuch): entries "Pessimism" and "Optimism", FAPESP process n° 2013/09544-3), which consists of writing a double entry about "Pessimism" and "Optimism" for the Nietzsche-Wörterbuch (NWB). According to it, the role project is divided in 10 parts (the 10 "categories" of each entry), and, for this first stay in Nijmegen (where works the Dictionary's seat and where take place the meetings of the Nietzsche Research Group of Nijmegen, led by one of the most renowned Nietzsche researchers of the world, prof. Dr. Paul van Tongeren, the main editor of NWB), is predicted the discussion and final writing of the 4 first categories, which had already been started in Brazil, from September, 2013, to March, 2014.
