Inter-technique combination of geodetic solutions in the GNSS-SP network

Abstract

The Brazilian continental characteristic implies the need for scientific challenges in spatial research and technology in geodetic solutions, contributing with the development and engagement of national and international research centers, thus providing instruments to space activities in this country and enhancing the prospects applications of sciences and spatial geodetic techniques (GNSS, SLR and VLBI) in several sectors of society, as well as understanding and integrating of space activities developed in international context. Given the deficiencies obtained by individual geodetic solutions (intra-techniques), regarding to the origin, scale or orientation, it's necessary to combine results obtained with different spatial techniques (inter-techniques) in SINEX format, with a view to minimize or eliminate such deficiencies. In the State of São Paulo, the stations of GNSS-SP Network collect and provides GNSS data, which can be processed, together, with SINEX files (SLR and VLBI), aiming at resolving the deficiency of datum in the processing that uses only intra-techniques solutions. This network included funds from FAPESP and deserves encouragement. The processing and combination of intra-techniques solutions ( GNSS ) arising from the case study related with this Network (Proc. FAPESP 2012/18505-9) via GridUNESP, by scientific software (GAMIT and GLOBK) coordinates, velocities and time series of nine stations this network are estimated and aligned to ITRF 2008 on four IGS stations. The combination of inter-techniques solutions should improve accuracy of scale, position and velocities of these nine stations of the GNSS-SP Network, continuing the Proc. 2012/18505-9, because the scarcity of this kind of studies in Brazil, this research cooperates with the investigation and determination of the GNSS-SP Network stations coordinates by combining inter-techniques solutions, contributing to the future scientific challenges and with the geodetic national community, providing more consistent solutions (accurate).
