The aim of this study is to evaluate osseointegration in implants placed simultaneously with autogenous grafts and allogenic only type in the tibia of rabbits by histological analysis . Twelve New Zealand rabbits received implants installed with autogenous grafts (group1) and allograft (group 2) , the implants were installed in the iliac crest of rabbits that underwent two surgical procedures , with an interval of 18 days. The blocks are dehydrated in ethanol series (60 - 100%) and subsequently infiltrates and polymerized photopolymerizable resin. The blocks will be cut at a central point using a cutting and wear (Exakt Apparatebeau). The cut sections that make up the blades will be approximately 120 mm thick and stained with hematoxylin / eosin. The images will be captured and analyzed in a light microscope LEICA at 200x magnification. Histomorphometric evaluations will be performed by a trained and blinded examiner using ImageJ ® software for image analysis. The following parameters will be determine: bone-implant contact area (mm2) , bone area between the threads to each group . The data of bone-implant contact area (mm2) and bone area between the threads, will be tested by normality test - Kolmogorov - Smirnov. Test samples giving normality of t student test will be applied, and in cases of absence of normality, the Mann Whitney test will be used. The significance level is 5 %.
