Will be used one hundred three 21-d-old weaned piglets (commercial genetic) to evaluate the carbon turnover of stomach mucosa, through carbon stable isotope analysis (´13C), fed with glutamate, glutamine and nucleotides in the diet. The animals will receive ad libitum feed during the whole experimental period (49-d) in a randomized complete block design with four treatments: T1= diets without glutamine, glutamate and nucleotides (control - DC); T2= diets containing 1 % glutamine (DG); T3= Diets containing 1% glutamate (DAG) and T4 = diets containing 1% of nucleotides (DN). On days 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 13, 20, 27 and 49 after weaning, will be slaughtered three piglets per treatment to verify the isotopic expression of fundic region of the stomach, as a function of the treatments. On the day of weaning (zero day) will also be slaughtered three pigs, to be as a reference to the isotopic composition of this organ. Stomach samples will be analyzed by through an automatic autosampler in Elemental analyzer, Flash 2000 Organic Elemental Analyzer EA for IRMS and isotopic analyzes will be analyzed by the method of exponential equations of the first order of Minitab ® 16 software.
