Abstract

The demand for wild animals to pet, both native and exotic origin, continues to grow each year, and is a challenging task to protect human and animal health. In this context, this research project aims to survey data about casuistry of wild animals, in veterinary hospital "Governador Laudo Natel" FCAV-Unesp Jaboticabal-SP, in two private clinics "Clínica de Aves" in Franca-SP, and "Dr. Dog" in Ribeirão Preto - SP. Thus providing subsidies to the authorities of animal and public health about relationship between this animals and humans. With this survey, will be possible check the amount of animals served, verify the need, field word of professionals specializing in this area, and classify the origin of the main diseases and their zoonotic risk.
