Abstract

The mid-twentieth century, developments occurred in both productivity and quality in agriculture, because of the increased development in agricultural production was increased application of herbicides, among them there are the triazines and sulfonylureas, which may cause serious risks to human health and the environment. The most used techniques for the separation and analysis of these compounds is the high performance liquid chromatography . However, is essential sample preparation. The search for techniques simple, low cost, less risk of contamination by environmental and occupational solvents predominates in the area of analytical chemistry. Among them we can highlight the bar adsorptive microextraction, providing methods with greater sensitivity, clean-up and pre-concentration of the analytes. Another desired aspect for sample preparation is to obtain a higher selectivity to sorbents used as compared to conventional ones, for example, modified silica (eg. C18), Amberlite XAD resins, and others. In this context, we should note the concept of molecularly imprinting technology, particularly with molecularly imprinted polymers. Thus, this project aims the development of molecularly imprinted polymers and modern strategies for sample preparation employing BA¼E based on MIP selective to triazines and sulfonylureas, and subsequent HPLC analysis, with application in environmental and food matrices.
