Abstract

The optimization settings of the ultrasound machine is essential for the imaging power Doppler (PD) when trying to quantify tissue vascularization. However, the lack of standardization reduces the applicability of PD in common settings such as pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and wall motion filter (WMF) that can alter the formation of images of PD and hence influence the quantification of PD indices, which are known correlation between the flow and vascularity. The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of PRF and WMF images on PD and its quantification during different cardiac cycles. For this, data color pixel density (CPD) will be acquired and analyzed the percentages of false positives and false negative pixels in the images.
