Abstract

The attention to the family in the hospital environment, requires health professionals to search for knowledge of family dynamics, their strengths, weaknesses and adapt to stressful events. In this study, qualiquantitativo have as main objective to evaluate the perception of comfort and spiritual religious coping in family members of patients in adult and pediatric ICU. The study will be conducted at the State Hospital of Bauru (HEB) and Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu. Will be considered eligible for the study: family aged over 18 years who have relatives in the hospital ICU for more than 48 hours and emotional conditions to answer the questionnaire. For data collection instrument consisted of four parts, the first characterization data of the patient and family will be used. The second level of comfort to the families of patients in critical health condition (Econf) and the third by the scale of short-religious spiritual cooping. Finally, the last part will consist of two open questions that will be analyzed using the methodological strategy of the Collective Subject Discourse.
