Abstract

This project aims to study the painted ceramics of the area of the three blackspots Archaeological Piracanjuba located in the Municipality of Piraju, SP, in the Vale do Rio Paranapanema side São Paulo region. This is a litho-ceramic site associated with Tupiguarani Tradition, dated 500 AP. This proposal aims to investigate the process of production of painted ceramics, in order to understand the possible operational chains of ceramic production. In this sense, besides the theoretical framework with interdisciplinary grounding in respect of Geography and Archaeology, will be undertaken effort to learn experimental techniques of making and painting ceramics. Finally, it is proposed to publish the results in academic events and the community in order to improve the analysis of archaeological material on screen.
