Abstract

The musical compositions can be considered as complex and autonomous systems and thus be the object of advanced computational modeling. We propose to develop this idea by creating formal models allowing the study of musical pieces from the contemporary repertoire and by conceiving the corresponding computational tools. We shall ground our work upon notions influenced by the object oriented programming aiming to model, produce and evaluate different instances and configurations of such systems. (AU)
