Abstract This project aims to enable the learning experience, the organization and the operation of a multi-user laboratory for studies of distribution smart-grids with distributed renewable sources. The knowledge and participation in the ongoing activities at DEI/UNIPD will allow following the development of control strategies for electronic power converters and loads, as well the as procedures for getting information, for establishing communication and for controlling the facility. Of special interest is the application of the Conservative Power Theory for measuring electrical quantities, either for the purpose of compensating disturbances, allocation of responsibilities or protection. With regard to electronic converters, the focus is the cooperative and multifunctional usage, allowing, within the operating limitations of each converter. | |
